Goal: Promotes Allied members’ initiatives and events.

Governmental Affairs Committee

Goal: To protect the interests of BOMA Members in the Greater Huntsville area with respect to legislative, regulatory and civic issues.

BOMA Benefit Committee

Goal: Charitable fundraiser. Committee helps raise funds, solicit donations and plan the event.

BOMA Webmaster/Public Relations Committee

Goal: Ensures the BOMA Greater Huntsville web site is maintained and updated and assists Programs Committee Chair with events notification to members. Notifies media about BOMA Greater Huntsville’s programs, and events.

BOMA Golf Committee

Goal: This event promotes informal networking among BOMA Greater Huntsville members on the course and during the event award ceremony.

Emergency Preparedness Committee

Goal: Advocates and develops best practices and initiatives regarding emergency preparedness for BOMA Greater Huntsville members.
Chair: Jeff Helums

Membership Committee

Goal: Manages recruitment, retention and general membership relations for BOMA Greater Huntsville’s members. Assists treasurer with maintaining and updating BOMA Greater Huntsville members, and BOMA International’s roster. Plans softball game in spring between allied members, and principal members.

Programs Committee

Goal: Plans monthly BOMA Greater Huntsville luncheon programs and other planned meetings, e.g., breakfast programs, etc., that feature timely industry topics. Facilitates courses and seminars that allow members the opportunity to advance professionally.
